One needs only to look at Damar Hamlin’s fundraiser at the start of the year to see how quickly a community can come together in support and help raise money for an honorable intention. The money would go toward a scholarship fund to help students gain access to higher education at the time of this writing, the GoFundMe campaign has only raised $5,500.
